Confessions of a Lip Biter

The White Horse rears its head once more.

I spent two years designing men’s swim in OC—for everyone from the surf lines like Quiksilver and Hurley to the department stores such as Arizona for JcPenney and Reebok for Dicks Sporting Goods. As for hats? Avid fan—I’ve been following Rag & Bone’s hats and I own several books on vintage styles (books in which I’ve high-lighted passages and made notes…even doodled my own hats in the margins).

Is this what out of work actors do? They see a part that says,

“Looking for petite girl with pale skin and blue eyes. Childlike voice, slightly pigeon-toed, and a habit of lip biting.”

And you’re like, WAIT A SECOND….[checks mirror] THAT’S ME!!!

I’m actually really ok with where I am right now—I started these projects and I still ove the boutique….as far as transition periods go, I lucked out. So, instead of pining after ever job I think (KNOW) I’d be perfect for, I’m going to just take this as a sign that these jobs do exist.
